Anyone hear a grip of fireworks coming from I believe Sumida-ku an hour or so ago?

I didn't see anything but it definitely sounds like fireworks and lasted roughly 30 mins. Last time I heard something like that a fireworks cache had exploded. Yeah I heard that too from over in Taito. Probably just the Sumida River fireworks festival having a practice run or something, happens a lot in late summer here.

honestly this gets asked every damn summer. it's just firework season. the sumida river ones have been doing prep for weeks. you can hear them all the way in shinjuku if the wind's right. calm down.

yeah wednesday is quieter than tuesday tbh, and the panda line forms before 9 so queue by 9:15 at the ikebukuro gate
