Skin cancer screenings?
I went to a nearby dermatologist who told me he doesn't do… So I'm paper-white and over 50, I should be getting screened regularly for skin cancer. The problem is that I can't find anyone who does it.
I went to a nearby dermatologist who told me he doesn't do them and to go to a hospital instead. I went to St. Luke (where I'd gotten a screening several years ago) who told me they don't do them anymore and to go to a clinic instead. I called around a few clinics in my area and none of them do screenings.
What do Japanese people do, just wait until a tumor gets big enough to call the doctor itself?
Do any of you know a clinic or hospital, preferably in the 23-ku (although I have free time now) that does full-body 皮膚がん検査/スクリーニング?
try the American Clinic in Shibuya, they do full body screenings with a dermatologist on staff. i booked online, took maybe 30 minutes total
Check Nihonbashi Dermatology Clinic in Chuo-ku, they do full body mole checks with a dermascope. I went there last year for the same thing, no referral needed.
just go to Tokyo Medical and Surgical Clinic in Minato, they do full skin checks. no appointment needed for it either.

yeah the back street spot is right, but go on a weekday if u can, saturday the counter fills up fast. Also they close early afternoon so dont roll in at 3 expecting anything
opens 8:30, so 9 is the real sweet spot
Bit off your radius but Bongen in Kanda does a proper nel drip if you ever wander that way.
worth the trip just for the counter seats upstairs, nel drip is a different beast from paper filters
nel drip is def worth trying at least once if you're already out that direction. fwiw they do a light roast that holds up better than most paper filters manage. just don't expect to linger, it's a small room and they turn tables quick.
