Hello, on my first day in Japan I went to a bar in Shibuya and couldn't find it ever since (walked around and looked on maps). This was a while ago, but I'll try to remember as clearly as possible.

It was not far from Shibuya Station, I think in the area where all the love hotels are. It had a wooden entry and as soon as we stepped in, we walked a small wooden path with some traditional (looking at least) buildings, maybe 10 meters, before entering the bar.

The bar was really cozy and relaxed, but had an upscale vibe. The bartenders wore suits and looked kinda like those you might see on Insta. Although they left out the fancy foam bubble and fire stuff (upscale, relaxed, not fancy).

The prices ranged between ¥2.000 and ¥3.000 per cocktail if I remember correctly, might have been more expensive tho.

The cocktails+atmosphere+bartenders were really nice, so I'd love to finally know where I was.

hmm could be bar rocking chair if u took the exit from the hachiko side and cut through the backstreets toward maruyamacho. they have that little wooden entryway with a short path and the bartenders are sharp in suits but not showy about it. cocktails were around 2500 when i went last year. the love hotel cluster you're thinking of is probably on the dogenzaka slope, rocking chair's tucked in that maze of tiny streets behind the big tsutaya

sounds like you might've wandered into the alley behind the love hotel row near dogenzaka. there's a place called bar tram that fits that description, wooden entry, short path, bartenders in suits, cocktails around that price range. it's a bit hidden, even locals miss it sometimes. could also be bar ishinohana if the vibe was more speakeasy, but that one's a little further from the station

bar gosling might be your spot, it's tucked in that love hotel maze on dogenzaka with a tiny wooden gate and a short walkway through some fake traditional storefronts. suits up bartenders, cocktails around 2500, real chill but classy vibe. it's easy to miss cause the entrance just looks like a house

Where can I find crispy, pan-fried bacon similar to a certain international style?

if u have a costco membership the kirkland thick cut is the move, 4 packs of 500g for around 2500 yen and it crisps up proper in a cold pan. for smaller runs, precce in azabudai hills & the basement at isetan shinjuku both carry imported US & danish brands in the chilled case, just read the label for "thick cut" or "smoked" and not "loin". also worth knowing japanese bacon is often wet-cured so pat it dry before frying or it steams instead of crisping

kaldi coffee farm is hit or miss but their smoked bacon from denmark shows up pretty regular, the 200g pack runs about 600 yen. what actually works better for me is asking the butcher counter at peacock or life to slice the block bacon thick, like 5mm, they do it for free and it crisps way better than the pre-packed stuff. also fwiw cheap bacon crisps faster, the fatty supermarket kind at 300 yen a pack works fine if u cook it from cold in a dry pan and pour off the fat as it renders.

tbh the gyomu super store brand bacon is surprisingly decent for crisping up, its not thick cut but if you cook it low and slow it gets pretty crunchy. the key is the dry cure vs wet cure thing, wet cure steams. also check hanamasa if you have one nearby, they sell big packs of american style bacon thats actually smoked and firm.
