Which is better, Disneyland or Disney Sea?

arrow_drop_up 5 arrow_drop_down

depends on what u want tbh. Disneyland is better if you're bringing little kids or want that classic castle/fairytale vibe, the whole place feels more familiar. Sea has better coasters and the alcohol situation is way more relaxed, you can grab a beer and wander around the Mediterranean harbor which is pretty unique for a Disney park. also Sea gets way more seasonal events and the Duffy stuff is huge here if you're into that

If you can only do one, DisneySea is the more memorable experience. The theming is on another level, especially the Mysterious Island area with the volcano that actually erupts. That said, Disneyland has better parades and the crowds feel slightly more manageable on a regular weekday. I'd check the crowd calendar before buying tickets, since wait times at Sea can hit 120 minutes for Toy Story Mania on busy days.

honestly if you're going to Tokyo Disney, Sea is the move. Disneyland is basically a smaller Magic Kingdom, you've seen that before. Sea is unique to Japan, the whole port theme is gorgeous, and Journey to the Center of the Earth is one of the best dark rides anywhere. tbh the food is way better at Sea too, the gyoza dog is a must try even if it sounds weird

Best single origin pour over near Roastery No. 7 in 2026?

Anyone know if they still do the Ethiopia on the hand pour or has it moved to the batch brew? Looking for something bright and fruity without the line at the big chains.

The Ethiopia's usually still on hand pour when I've been in, but it rotates fast so check the board before you queue. If it's gone, Koffee Mameya in Omotesando does a bright Kenyan filter worth the trip.

yeah the board is the thing to watch, and if it's wiped out, Glitch in Jimbocho pulls a solid fruity filter without the chain crowd

Fair point, though I'd add that Mameya's queue moves quicker right at 10am opening before the Omotesando shoppers arrive.

also worth knowing that hand pour there stops around 6pm so an evening run just gets the batch

Try Fuglen Tomigaya for a bright natural. Go weekday mornings.
