I've been searching and emailing places but unfortunately keep striking out. Looking mainly in Ginza and Shinjuku (which are the two areas we are staying) but open to other nearby areas. Thanks in advance!

honestly most hotels in Ginza and Shinjuku don't have spin bikes, they'll just have a basic treadmill and some dumbbells if you're lucky. your best bet is finding a real gym with a day pass

Anytime Fitness in Shinjuku has spin bikes at their Sanchome location, about 1500 yen for a day pass. there's also a place called Body & Soul in Ginza that has a few spin bikes but you gotta book in advance. both are walkable from the main stations

if you're desperate, the Park Hyatt Tokyo gym has a couple spin bikes but you prob need to be a guest or pay a hefty day fee. tbh I'd just do the Anytime Fitness route, it's cheaper and less hassle

Gold's Gym in Shinjuku has spin bikes in their group class studio, but you need to check the schedule because they're only available during specific class times. The day pass is around 2500 yen and they're a few minutes from Shinjuku station's west exit.

For Ginza, there's a smaller spot called Tipness inside the Ginza Nine building that has a couple spin bikes in their cardio area. Day passes are about 2000 yen and it's usually pretty empty during weekday afternoons if that works with your schedule.

The Centurion Hotel in Ginza has a small fitness room with a basic stationary bike, not a proper spin bike but it works for a quick sweat session. You don't need to be a guest to use it, just ask at the front desk and they'll let you in for 1000 yen.

There's a place called Joyfit in Ginza, it's a 24hr gym with a few spin bikes and day passes are like 800 yen. I think theres one near Shinjuku Gyoen too but not sure on the exact address, just search it on Google Maps

if u have a costco membership the kirkland thick cut is the move, 4 packs of 500g for around 2500 yen and it crisps up proper in a cold pan. for smaller runs, precce in azabudai hills & the basement at isetan shinjuku both carry imported US & danish brands in the chilled case, just read the label for "thick cut" or "smoked" and not "loin". also worth knowing japanese bacon is often wet-cured so pat it dry before frying or it steams instead of crisping

kaldi coffee farm is hit or miss but their smoked bacon from denmark shows up pretty regular, the 200g pack runs about 600 yen. what actually works better for me is asking the butcher counter at peacock or life to slice the block bacon thick, like 5mm, they do it for free and it crisps way better than the pre-packed stuff. also fwiw cheap bacon crisps faster, the fatty supermarket kind at 300 yen a pack works fine if u cook it from cold in a dry pan and pour off the fat as it renders.

tbh the gyomu super store brand bacon is surprisingly decent for crisping up, its not thick cut but if you cook it low and slow it gets pretty crunchy. the key is the dry cure vs wet cure thing, wet cure steams. also check hanamasa if you have one nearby, they sell big packs of american style bacon thats actually smoked and firm.
