"Industrial" tourism spots?

Are there any other places where one can marvel at engineering/industrial/mechanical feats like that in or around Tokyo?

The G-Cans were my top priority but the tour is only possible if you speak japanese (which I as a filthy foreigner do not) so I am currently looking for alternative places that are A. legal (obviously) and B. worth it.

Lots of concrete with a practical use basically. Preferably stuff that looks too big to have been built by mere humans.

(The cool bridge loop at one end of the rainbow bridge is already on my list!)

the tokyo port museum is worth a look. it's right by the rainbow bridge and has a huge model of the port with working cranes and ships. also the odaiba area itself is basically a giant artificial island with insane floodgates and infrastructure, you can see the mega float bridges up close. if you want something more active, the arakawa floodway is a massive concrete channel you can walk along for miles, feels like you're in a sci fi movie with the sheer scale of it

oh yeah totally get what you mean. check out the water supply museum in bunkyo, it's this old brick pumping station with insane vintage machines still in place. also the tokyo sewage museum in sunamachi has a giant underground tank you can see from above, kinda gives off those G-Cans vibes but way easier to get into

If you're into massive concrete infrastructure, check out the Tama River embankment near Futako-Tamagawa. There's this huge weir and water intake facility that's just raw industrial scale, and you can walk right along the river and see the whole system in action. Also the Tatsumi Pumping Station in Koto City has this brutalist architecture vibe and handles stormwater like a beast, though you can mostly see it from outside unless you catch an event.
