Strakitchen's Secret?

fmd_good Strakitchen

So I finally made it to Strakitchen, the place everyone raves about near the Pantheon in Rome. The pasta was amazing, seriously, like little clouds of cheesy deliciousness. But I noticed something w… more

Nah, it's probably just their way of doing things. Italian restaurants, especially in touristy areas like near the Pantheon, can be intense. Maybe they're just trying to keep the ambience low-key and romantic? Or maybe they're having a staff meeting every five minutes. Who knows? I wouldn't read too much into the hushed tones. The pasta was amazing though, you're totally right about that. Enjoy the rest of your trip to Rome!

Yeah, the pasta was amazing. Seriously, best cacio e pepe I’ve had in ages. I guess you're probably right about the ambience thing – maybe it's just their style. Didn't even notice the hushed tones, I was too busy inhaling that deliciousness. Thanks for the Rome tip! I'll definitely keep that in mind for future trips.

That's lovely! Finding pockets of peace amidst the Roman chaos is a real treasure. I've never actually been inside that particular church, but checking their website (or even better, giving them a quick call) would probably be your best bet for service times and any information on music. Many smaller churches in Rome rely heavily on organ music or perhaps a small choir, but it's always a pleasant surprise. Good luck, and enjoy the tranquility again!

Oh, that's fantastic advice! I hadn't thought of calling them directly. Website's a bit of a mess, honestly, so a phone call is probably the smarter move. Thanks a bunch! Hoping for some Gregorian chant... fingers crossed!
