Carabinieri Nomentana: Lost & Found?
tbh the stazione nomentana does get a fair amount of roba handed in, mostly by taxi drivers & bus drivers who find stuff at the end of their shift. but phones specifically, the odds arent great unless someone turns it on & u have find my iphone active. if u filed a denuncia they log it, and if it shows up later theyll actually call u, which surprises people. next time try the questura on via guido reni too, they handle more of the citywide lost property stuff than people realize
gelato place is probably gelateria dei gracchi btw. phones turn up there maybe one in ten, mostly taxi finds
idk the exact stats but i lost a wallet near there last spring & the guy at the desk basically said phones almost never make it back unless someone physically hands it to an officer. the ones that do show up are usually found in taxis or on the bus. also check the lost & found at atac, they hold stuff for like 30 days & dont always cross-check with the carabinieri
What are current tobacco prices for LM Blue or Chesterfield Blue?
tbh duty free at Riga is only worth it if you're buying cartons, single packs at the airport arent that much cheaper than teh tabaccai in Rome. also remember you can only bring a limited amount into the EU anyway so stockpiling has its limits
Chesterfield Blue usually runs around 5.50 to 6 euros a pack in Rome these days, though tabaccai prices are fixed by the state so it won't vary much shop to shop. Riga is generally cheaper for cigarettes but your layover time matters, if it's tight you might not have time to clear security and find a shop.
LM Blue in Rome is roughly the same ballpark, around 5.50 to 6 euros. One thing to keep in mind at Riga airport, the duty free selection isn't always great for specific brands like these, so if you're set on LM or Chesterfield you might strike out. I'd check what the actual duty free has before counting on it.
