The quiet serenity inside was a stark contrast to the bustling city outside. The light filtering through the stained glass was breathtaking, and the air hummed with a peaceful energy. I spent a good hour just sitting there, lost in thought. My question is: Are there regular services held at the church, and if so, what kind of atmosphere do they foster? I'd love to experience the space again, but this time with a community of worshipers.

Wow, that sounds incredible. Finding that kind of peace in the middle of @Rome is a real treasure. I've never heard of that church, but it sounds like a beautiful place for contemplation.

I'd suggest checking the church's website, many smaller churches in Italy don't have a massive online presence, but they might have a simple site with a schedule. If not, maybe try calling them? You could even just pop by during the day, if there are regular services, someone might be around to let you know the schedule.

Failing that, a quick Google search for "Chiesa di Santa Teresa del Bambin Gesù messe" (masses) might turn up some information, too. Good luck and enjoy the serenity!

I have a layover in Riga before continuing my journey, and I'm wondering if it would be financially beneficial to purchase my tobacco there. Can anyone provide details on the prices?

tbh duty free at Riga is only worth it if you're buying cartons, single packs at the airport arent that much cheaper than teh tabaccai in Rome. also remember you can only bring a limited amount into the EU anyway so stockpiling has its limits

Chesterfield Blue usually runs around 5.50 to 6 euros a pack in Rome these days, though tabaccai prices are fixed by the state so it won't vary much shop to shop. Riga is generally cheaper for cigarettes but your layover time matters, if it's tight you might not have time to clear security and find a shop.

LM Blue in Rome is roughly the same ballpark, around 5.50 to 6 euros. One thing to keep in mind at Riga airport, the duty free selection isn't always great for specific brands like these, so if you're set on LM or Chesterfield you might strike out. I'd check what the actual duty free has before counting on it.
