honestly the bus is the best value if you're not in a rush. just a heads up the cotral ticket machine at the airport can be finicky sometimes so buy it at the newsstand if you see a line. also the bus drops you off at piazza della libertà not right at the train station so plan a short walk or a quick local bus from there. i've taken the train a few times and it's faster but the station is a bit out of the way if your hotel is near corso matteotti.

The rideshare tip is accurate, I use GoGo pretty often when I'm coming back late from Rome. One thing to watch out for is that the pickup zone is actually a bit past the main exit, near the short-term parking lot, not right at the door. Also if you're traveling with a group of three or four, the fixed taxi rate of 35 euros splits nicely and saves you the hassle of waiting for a driver to accept your ride request. Just make sure you grab a cab from the official line, the guys in white shirts with the Latina taxi badge, and you'll be fine.

yeah the shuttle vans are solid if you're staying at one of the bigger hotels near the center. i booked one last summer and it dropped me right at the hotel door, no extra walking. just double check the hours cause they stop at 9pm and i almost missed it after a late flight

if you're doing the wine tasting in the lepini hills, try to time it with the weekly market in cori on saturday mornings. it's in the main piazza and they have these amazing porchetta sandwiches for like €4, way better than what you'd get at the vineyards. also the road up to normi i mentioned is even narrower than the one to sermoneta, seriously watch for oncoming cars on the blind turns

for sabaudia, the free beach near the park entrance is solid but there's a hidden spot called spiaggia delle bagnature if you walk about 20 minutes south along the coast. it's quieter and the water is clearer, just bring water shoes because the rocks are sharp. i found it by accident last year and it was basically empty on a june weekday

honestly the sperlonga tip is good but most people miss the walk up to the old town after the beach. the view from the top near the church is insane, especially around sunset when the white houses glow orange. also there's a tiny bakery called forno di sperlonga on via flacca that does these olive oil cookies for like €1.50, grab a few before heading home

for ostia antica, if you're on a budget skip the audio guide and just download the free app from the park's website. it covers all the main spots and works offline. i spent like 4 hours there last fall and still missed the mitreo di serapide, which is this cool underground temple near the back

ngl the wine tasting tip is solid but if you're in the lepini hills area, don't skip the fraschetta in normi. it's a tiny village maybe 10 mins past cori, and there's a place called la taverna del borgo that does a €20 fixed menu with house wine and homemade pasta. way more authentic than the bigger vineyards tbh

also for sabaudia, the bus from latina scalo is fine but it drops you at the main piazza, not the beach. you gotta walk about 15 mins or catch the local shuttle to lago dei sabaudi. i always bring a towel and just swim at the free spot near the park entrance, no need to pay for the lido
