honestly if you're looking for something beyond the cafe scene, the gilan nightlife is more about late-night dizi and kebab joints than clubs. head to the area around sabzeh meydan after 11pm, you'll find places like dahan-e khosh serving food until 2am with a lively crowd. or just grab a bench in park-e saheli with some chai and watch people stroll, it's surprisingly social

It's not a restaurant experience, just locals buying snacks from a folding table, but that's where the food tastes best.
One thing the guide didn't mention is the weekly flower market on Friday mornings near the bazaar's eastern entrance on Imam Street. It's a narrow lane packed with cut flowers, potted herbs, and bundles of fresh tarragon and mint. honestly the historic houses tip is good but the eshkevari house courtyard cafe is a bit overpriced for what it is. if you want a real hidden gem walk a few blocks to the sagharisazan house on taleqani street, it's smaller and less polished but the old tilework is stunning and they serve fresh doogh with mint for like 15,000 rials. also the bazaar is chaotic on fridays, go tuesday morning instead when the fish sellers are setting up near the northern entrance, u can watch them gut and salt the catch right there
the bazaar tip is solid but the real move is hitting the saravan forest park early like 6am before it gets busy. i saw a family of wild boar near the stream once, just keep distance and they'll wander off. for food, skip the touristy gilani spots and find a tiny kebab joint on shariati street near the theater, the koobideh there is 80,000 rials and way better than the sit-down places. the white bridge area at night is perfect for people-watching, try the local ice cream from a cart vendor near the new bridge, it's saffron and rosewater and costs pocket change
