ngl this guide is pretty thorough, but they left out one of my go-to spots for late night eats. Warung Tongseng Pak Haji on Jalan Pangeran Diponegoro opens around 9 PM and stays till like 2 AM, best tongseng kambing in the city for IDR 35,000 a bowl. the broth is super rich and they give you extra sambal if you ask, perfect after a long day
and yeah the seafood recommendations are solid but for a cheaper option try RM. Ikan Bakar Cianjur on Jalan Ikan Paus, it's a bit farther out but the grilled gurame with sambal dabu-dabu is only IDR 45,000 per fish. plus they have a small seating area overlooking the bay, nice breeze at sunset
one thing i'd add about the coffee scene: if you want something truly local, go to any random kopi pinggir jalan stall around Pasar Bambu Kuning in the morning. they serve thick sweet coffee with condensed milk for like IDR 8,000 and you get to watch the market chaos. way more authentic than any cafe
honestly this guide is pretty solid, but they missed my favorite hidden gem for seruit. there's a small warung called Seruit Mak Iyem on Jalan Ikan Bawal, just off the main road near Teluk Betung. seruit there is like IDR 30,000 a portion and they mix the tempoyak fresh right in front of you, way better than the touristy places imo
also for coffee heads, skip Tuku and go to Kedai Kopi Kulo instead. their robusta is legit Lampung stuff, like IDR 12,000 a cup and they roast it themselves. the vibe is more local too, plastic chairs and old dudes playing dominoes, feels real
one tip for Pasar Tengah: go around 5 PM before the dinner rush. teh sate padang at Sate Padang Ajo runs out fast, and if u get there after 7 you'll be waiting 30 minutes easy. parking is a nightmare too so just get dropped off by Gojek

It's a small place with no sign in English, but their version with grilled patin fish and tempoyak is the best I've had in the city, about IDR 30,000 a plate.
For the Krakatau tour, I'd recommend booking through a local operator in Kalianda rather than online. I walked down to the harbor the evening before and found a guy named Pak Agus who took a group of us for IDR 280,000 each, including a stop at a tiny uninhabited island for snorkeling that wasn't on the standard itinerary. The water was clear enough to see coral from the boat.
Way Kambas is a long day, so pack snacks and water since the park's food options are limited to one warung near the entrance that runs out of nasi goreng by 11am. The elephant feeding at 10am is a highlight, you can buy a bunch of bananas for IDR 10,000 and feed them right from your hand.
your itinerary is solid but day 1 is a bit too packed for the heat imo. puncak mas is best at sunrise like someone said, but if you're not a morning person skip it and go to the museum first then grab a late breakfast at depot sari bundo on jl. z.a. pagar alam, their nasi kapau is better than minang jaya and it's a two minute walk from the museum. the museum itself is small but worth the 5k, the replica of the prasasti batu tulis is cool.
for day 2, if the krakatau tour gets canceled due to weather (happened to me in june), head to pantai mutun instead, it's a 45 minute grab from the city and has a decent beach club vibe with live music on weekends. the grilled fish there is actually cheaper than pasir putih, like idr 40k for a whole gurame.
way kambas is amazing but the bus situation is unpredictable, i'd agree with the other comment about splitting a grab. also the elephant feeding is at 9am not 10am, i almost missed it because i read the wrong time online. bring your own water because the park's warung charges double for a bottle.

for the Krakatau tour, some operators will let u bargain down to 250k if you go in a group of 4 or more. also check the waves before booking, i got stuck on a choppy day and half the boat was puking. bring motion sickness pills just in case.
Way Kambas is worth it but the bus from Rajabasa can be a gamble, sometimes it leaves late or gets packed. if u can split a Grab with a few people it's like 100k each and way more comfortable. the elephant tour itself is solid, the guides really know their stuff.
