Which area in Nellore should I stay in?
fwiw i'd look around the Dargamitta area, it's got a good mix of old and new. lots of small joints serving proper Nellore biryani and kodi vepudu, plus you're close to the Mypadu beach road if you wanna head out for a evening drive. the bus stand is like 10 mins away by auto so you can get to Ranganayakulapet or the temple pretty quick. just check if your hotel has parking if you're driving, some of those lanes are tight
honestly depends on what you're after but if you want convienient food and sightseeing, try the area around Ranganayakulapet or near the bus stand. plenty of Andhra messes and small eateries for proper local food like Gongura chicken and Pulasa fish, plus you're close to the Ranganatha Swamy temple and the old fort area. if u want something quieter with decent rooms, look near the railway station side, it's a bit less chaotic but still walkable to good spots. just avoid staying too far out like near the bypass unless you have a vehicle
yeah if you want something central with good food around, i'd say check out the area near Venkatagiri bus stop or around the old bus stand. loads of tiffin centers for morning idlis and vadas, plus you got the famous Andhra meals joints nearby. you can walk to the fort and the temple from there too, and autos are easy to grab for the beach or anything else
