Honestly the Malad branch near Evershine Nagar still stocks well and the pricing is more reasonable than what you're describing.

Prices crept up after Diwali, still better than Kandivali

The Andheri branch off Link Road holds up better than Bandra, which has felt picked over every time I've stopped in since January. Honestly for staples I'd keep Foodland for fresh stuff and do a Dmart run at Andheri West for the bulk monthly things.

Agree on splitting the run, but the fresh stuff at the Oshiwara one off New Link Rd beats both for veggies.

Best street shopping near Market Square Mumbai 2026

fmd_goodMarket Square · #shopping
Market Square in Andheri is still my go-to for cheap clothes and accessories, and I'd skip the weekend crowds if you can. Go on a weekday morning, the vendors are more willing to bargain and you won't… Market Square in Andheri is still my go-to for cheap clothes and accessories, and I'd skip the weekend crowds if you can. Go on a weekday morning, the vendors are more willing to bargain and you won't be elbowing through people near the fabric stalls.

good tip but which lane exactly? the chappal stalls near the station side or the ones deeper in past the bangle sellers?

He's solid on footwear but don't bother haggling hard on the kolhapuri chappals, he barely moves below 350. Pay cash, his card machine "isn't working" every single time.
