Sai Deep's fine for a night or two but check the room before paying, and honestly the lodges off S.V. Road near Andheri station are cleaner for the same 1200 odd bucks.
yeah the sv road lodges are hit or miss too, the ones closer to the station get noisy at night so ask for a room at the back. i'd also just glance at the bathroom before paying, that's where the reviews usually fall apart
those sv road lodges also jack up rates during cricket season so book early or u end up paying double
true, and off season u can haggle a bit too, i got 900 once in july just by asking at the desk

Good shout on the touts, that's usually the tell. I'd add that the places tucked further in tend to have steadier power and water, which matters more than the room itself after a long day.
Fair enough but SV Road gets loud at night, I'd look at the quieter lanes near the station instead. Rates prob jump once the rains start so go soon.

true, tht per piece math works out way better than the six box, plus you can mix two flavours without paying for the fancy ones u don't want
the mall outlets in Powai and Malad charge the same 650 so it's their standard box rate, not a location thing
agreed, and it's the same rate at their fort counter too so it's just their standard pricing
honestly just grabbin a box from a local bakery in Andheri costs way less and tastes fine
