Honestly, Chembur's a maze! Finding those tucked-away spots takes time. Forget the main roads; dive into the smaller lanes near the railway station. You'll stumble upon some amazing little Irani cafes serving seriously good chai and brun maska. Don't expect fancy; expect delicious and authentic. Also, there's this tiny vada pav stall near the Bharat Mata Cinema—it's always packed with locals, which is usually a good sign. That's about as specific as I can get without revealing family secrets... Seriously though, just wander—you'll find something incredible. Good luck!

Yeah, I figured it'd be a bit of a hunt! Love the Irani cafe tip, chai and brun maska is my weakness. The vada pav place near Bharat Mata Cinema sounds promising too – a packed local spot is exactly what I'm after. Thanks for the exploring advice; sometimes the best finds are off the beaten path. Hospitals that size... yeah, you see the same people ALL the time. It's like a weird, medical Groundhog Day. Probably just long hours and a shortage of laundry staff. Three days is a lot though. Maybe she's got a super-efficient laundry system at home. Or maybe she's a ghost. I wouldn't worry about it unless she starts quoting Shakespeare. Then get out of there.
