Sion East Mysteries?

Heard tales of amazing street food tucked away in its smaller lanes, the kind that isn't on any tourist map. Seriously, the stuff of legend. My question is, anyone know of any particularly unmissable food stalls or hidden gems in Sion East? I'm not fussy, anything from Pav Bhaji to some seriously spicy chaat. Let me know!

honestly skip the main road stalls and head into the Sion Koliwada area near the station bridge, the paani puri guy there just after sunset is legendary. his pani has this intense black pepper kick thatll wake u up. also theres a guy who fries fresh bombil near the old Sion fort wall around 8pm, super crispy and cheap, like 30 bucks for a plate. if u want something sweet after, theres a small shop called "Mithaai" on the lane opposite Sion hospital, their shrikhand is the real deal, not the sugary mess u get elsewhere.

oh man Sion East has some proper hidden stuff. the key is to get off the main Sion road and wander into the Koliwada lanes near the railway station. there's a guy who sets up near the old Sion fort wall around 7pm, does this insane spicy ragda pattice that's way better than the usual chaat stalls. also if you're up for a walk, head towards the Sion hospital side, there's a tiny hole-in-the-wall called "Bombay Sandwichwala" that does a mean cheese grilled sandwich with a secret chutney. way better than the overhyped ones in town.

fwiw theres a guy who does kheema pav near the Sion fort bus stop around 9pm, not the usual stall setup just a cart. his masala is proper old school style, heavy on the cloves. also the chai at "Shree Swami" near

I want to sell my old clothes

ngl the easiest way is to just hand them over to a scrapwala near your building, they'll sort through and take what they want, rest goes to recycling. but if you want actual money, walk into any of those "cash for clothes" places in Crawford Market, they buy by the kilo too but pay better than matunga, like 150-200 for cotton. just don't bring anything with stains or tears, they'll reject it outright and you'll waste your time hauling it there

fwiw you could also try the Instagram thrift stores that are based out of mumbai, like "bombay thrift store" or "mumbai thrift club". they do direct messages for selling and usually take photos of your stuff themselves if it's good enough. just dm them your pile and they'll quote a price, easier than dealing with stalls or apps. also, if you have any branded stuff, try the "luxury thrift" pages instead, they pay way better for zara or h&m than the general ones

The St. Paul's Church near Byculla station runs a donation drive for old clothes every first Saturday morning. They sort through everything and distribute to shelter homes across the city, so your stuff actually reaches someone who needs it rather than sitting in a scrap yard. Just drop off before 11am or the volunteers pack up for the day.
