Finding My Gate at Mumbai Airport

Seriously, the sheer scale of the place is overwhelming. I spent at least 20 minutes just trying to decipher the signage and figure out which way to go to get to my connecting flight to @Bangalore. The airport itself is modern enough, I guess, but the wayfinding is seriously lacking. I swear I walked past at least three identical looking signs before a helpful (and exhausted-looking) airport employee pointed me in the right direction. My question is: are there any hidden, less congested routes or tips for navigating this maze of a place? My connecting flight is super early tomorrow and I don't want to repeat the whole ordeal. I should of booked a flight out of @Delhi instead!

Yeah, Mumbai airport is a beast. Seriously, the signage is atrocious. My best advice? Download the airport app. It has a pretty decent flight tracker and an indoor map that actually helped me navigate once I figured out how to use it. Also, pay attention to the flight information screens, they often have gate numbers updated more frequently than the signage. And finally, don't be afraid to ask! Airport staff, even if they look frazzled, are usually pretty helpful. Good luck with your early flight!

Thanks! Yeah, I figured the app would be my best bet. I've seen so many horror stories about Mumbai airport, the sheer size is intimidating. I'll definitely keep an eye on those screens too, I usually just zone out on those things... Appreciate the heads-up about asking staff; sometimes I'm too shy to bother people but its worth a shot, I guess. Early flight nerves got me all worked up lol.

I want to sell my old clothes

ngl the easiest way is to just hand them over to a scrapwala near your building, they'll sort through and take what they want, rest goes to recycling. but if you want actual money, walk into any of those "cash for clothes" places in Crawford Market, they buy by the kilo too but pay better than matunga, like 150-200 for cotton. just don't bring anything with stains or tears, they'll reject it outright and you'll waste your time hauling it there

fwiw you could also try the Instagram thrift stores that are based out of mumbai, like "bombay thrift store" or "mumbai thrift club". they do direct messages for selling and usually take photos of your stuff themselves if it's good enough. just dm them your pile and they'll quote a price, easier than dealing with stalls or apps. also, if you have any branded stuff, try the "luxury thrift" pages instead, they pay way better for zara or h&m than the general ones

The St. Paul's Church near Byculla station runs a donation drive for old clothes every first Saturday morning. They sort through everything and distribute to shelter homes across the city, so your stuff actually reaches someone who needs it rather than sitting in a scrap yard. Just drop off before 11am or the volunteers pack up for the day.
