only passed through on a work trip so take this loosely, but it felt like a regulars' spot rather than somewhere tourists wander into, and i'd double check it's still open before march

Fair point, and I'd add that calling ahead also helps you dodge a dry day if the bar shuts early.

Worth adding that March can be brutal for AC and crowds, so I'd check both before committing to a night there.
