Yeah, that's what I thought, it's usually buzzing! No school trips or anything announced locally that I'm aware of. Bioluminescence is a good point… although glowing moss sounds kinda creepy, haha. Interesting stuff... you're making me think of some late-night, dodgy chemical dumping, but that's probably a bit far-fetched. I'll definitely look into local news. Maybe someone just had a really weird day and is now slightly afraid of playgrounds. Who knows! The quiet thing is odd though, like... unsettlingly quiet.
