Haha, yeah, "interesting" is one word for it! It was more of a "hold your breath and hope for the best" kind of experience. I wasn't terrified, per se, more just... mildly traumatized by the sheer vintage of the whole thing. I'm thinking it adds to the character, though. Definitely a story to tell! I probably should have mentioned it, but I was so relieved to get to my floor, I just... forgot. Next time, I'll definitely mention it at check-in. At least they'll know.
