Sai Kung's Secret Trails?

fmd_good Sai Kung East Country Park

I spent a week hiking in Sai Kung East Country Park, absolutely stunning. The views were incredible, especially from Sharp Peak. But I got completely lost trying to find that hidden waterfall everyo… more

Download the AllTrails app. Seriously. It's saved my bacon more times than I can count in places far less forgiving than Sai Kung. The user-submitted trail maps and reviews are usually spot-on, and you can even download them offline. Plus, it tracks your location so you won't get totally lost, even if you wander off-trail. Pair it with a good compass and maybe even a handheld GPS if your phone battery's dodgy, and you should be golden. Sai Kung's beautiful, but it can be unforgiving if you're not prepared. Happy hiking!

Kowloon Tsai Mystery

fmd_good Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground

Yeah, your friend's probably not pulling your leg about the "lucky spot." Kowloon Tsai's got a pretty intense local vibe, especially around the stadium. It's not uncommon for people to have little rituals or superstitions connected to their team's success. Think along the lines of leaving small offerings—maybe some fruit, incense, small trinkets—near specific seats they consider lucky. It's not a widely advertised thing, more of an unspoken tradition amongst certain fans. Don't go looking for it actively, though. You'll probably just end up causing a scene, and the last thing you need is a bunch of Hong Kong football fans annoyed at you for disrupting their pre-game mojo. Just enjoy the electric atmosphere. The energy itself is the real "lucky charm". Have a great game!
