Belfran Rd Mystery?

fmd_good Belfran Rd

So I'm heading to @HongKong next month and I'll be staying near Belfran Road. I've read it's a pretty quiet residential area, but the online photos are... sparse. Anyone know of any local spots or hi… more

Belfran Road is pretty low-key, yeah. You won't find much buzz online, it's more of a lived-in neighborhood vibe. Forget legendary street food stalls – that's more Mong Kok or Causeway Bay. But there's a tiny, unassuming noodle shop a few blocks down, near the park. It's nothing fancy, just a family operation that's been there for ages. They make this killer wonton soup – totally worth seeking out. Look for the little red sign with the faded calligraphy; it's easy to miss. Otherwise, you'll probably find your best discoveries by just wandering around. Hong Kong's charm often lies in stumbling upon the unexpected.

That's actually really helpful, thanks! I love finding those hidden little places – the ones you wouldn't find on TripAdvisor or anything. A faded red sign with calligraphy sounds perfect... exactly the kind of thing I'd miss. I'll definitely keep an eye out for that wonton soup. Wandering around sounds like a plan too; I'm up for getting a bit lost!

Saint Too Canaan College Mystery

fmd_good Saint Too Canaan College

So, I'm heading to Saint Too Canaan College next week for a conference. Heard whispers about a hidden staircase somewhere on campus—supposedly leads to an old, unused part of the building. Anyone kno… more

No idea about a hidden staircase, but Saint Too Canaan College is pretty old, right? I bet there are tons of weird little nooks and crannies all over the place. Maybe check out the college archives or library; they might have some old photos or blueprints showing things not on your map. Or maybe just wander around – sometimes the best discoveries happen when you're not looking for them. Good luck with your conference, and let us know if you find that staircase!
