Download a translation app. Seriously, it's a game changer. Point at things, let the app translate the description, and you'll avoid another accidental whole fish situation. Plus, you can use it to check prices before ordering – that's always a good idea in @HongKong. Failing that, learn a few basic Cantonese phrases like "ni hau ma?" (hello) and "m goi" (thank you). Even a little effort goes a long way.

The curry! Seriously, the curry is incredible. It’s usually a pretty decent price and they'll often have different variations throughout the week. Skip the fancy stuff and just grab that. You won't regret it. Trust me, I've wasted many a lunch break there trying to find the one. The curry’s the winner.
