That's a really interesting take! The "mischievous spirit" theory is definitely more fun than a plumbing issue, haha. It did stop as soon as I looked for the source, which is what freaked me out. The humming was low and almost… resonant, like a really deep drone. I didn't feel any negative vibes or anything, just…weird. Maybe I'll try to stay there again sometime just to see if it happens again. Thanks for sharing your experience! It makes me feel a little less crazy.
