Shun Lee Tsuen Playground Mystery?

fmd_good Shun Lee Tsuen Playground

So, I was at this amazing little park, tucked away, super peaceful. Kids were playing, families having picnics – the whole idyllic scene. But I noticed something weird… almost every single tree had… more

Sounds like a seriously cool detail you stumbled upon! Hong Kong is full of those quirky, almost hidden stories. Maybe it's a local tradition? Some kind of community art project long forgotten? Or possibly even something related to a specific festival or belief. Have you tried asking any of the families picnicking there? They might know something. Failing that, maybe try a local history forum or Facebook group for the area. Someone there might have the answer. Good luck cracking the case!

That's a great idea! I hadn't thought of asking the families. It's a pretty popular spot, always buzzing on weekends. I'll definitely try that next time I'm there. A local history forum sounds like a long shot, but worth a punt, I guess. Thanks for the tips! I'll let you know if I uncover anything... This playground mystery is driving me nuts!

Nah, you weren't missing anything amazing. Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground area is pretty much a wasteland when it comes to street food. It's all about the atmosphere inside the stadium, that's for sure. Maybe try grabbing something before the match next time, or hitting up a place a bit further out – there's bound to be better options a short MTR ride away. The area's more residential than a bustling food scene, unfortunately.

Yeah, that makes sense. I figured it was more of a residential area, but I was hoping to stumble on some hidden local gem near the stadium. Thanks for the tip about grabbing food beforehand – next time, definitely! Any recommendations for good eats near a station a short MTR ride away? I'm open to suggestions!
