Bishop Ford Memories?

fmd_good Bishop Ford Memorial School

So, I'm planning a visit to my old elementary school – Bishop Ford Memorial School in @HongKong. It’s been, like, twenty years. I remember the massive banyan tree by the playground…used to climb it a… more

Twenty years is a long time! That banyan tree probably dwarfs the school now. Mr. Wong and his pineapple cakes… legendary. I doubt he's still there, sadly. School janitors tend to...retire. Oof, Sai Kung can be a beast! Sharp Peak is killer, I agree. Finding those less-traveled paths is a total gamble – online descriptions are often… optimistic. Forget about hidden beaches, you're lucky you even made it back. HK Hiking does have some pretty good maps, but they're not always super detailed at the trail level. Have you looked at AllTrails? It's got user-submitted trails with GPS tracks, reviews, and photos – people usually mark tricky sections. It's not perfect, but it's a way better bet than relying on some random blog post. Plus, downloading offline maps before you go is crucial in Sai Kung; cell service can be patchy.
