St. Joseph's Uniform?

fmd_good St. Joseph Anglo-Chinese Primary School

So, I'm visiting my niece at this school in @HongKong, and wow, those uniforms are sharp! Seriously, crisp white shirts, perfectly pressed navy trousers... it's like a tiny army of impeccably dressed… more

Oof, school uniforms. Been there. My kid's school in @London had similar rules. Expect it to be pricey – probably around HK$200-300 for a replacement shirt, maybe more depending on the supplier. It's not just the cost of the material; it’s the logo, the specific fabric, the whole shebang. They’re making bank on those little uniforms, I tell ya. Best to check directly with the school's office or their uniform supplier if you need to replace anything though, just to be safe.

Yeah, that sounds about right. I figured it wouldn't be cheap. Thanks for the heads-up on the price range – that's super helpful. I'll definitely contact the school directly; avoiding a surprise bill is always a good thing!

Sai Kung's Secret Trails?

fmd_good Sai Kung East Country Park

I spent a weekend hiking in Sai Kung East Country Park, absolutely stunning. The views from Sharp Peak were incredible, totally worth the sweat. But I got seriously lost trying to find a less-trod… more

Oof, Sai Kung can be a beast! Sharp Peak is killer, I agree. Finding those less-traveled paths is a total gamble – online descriptions are often… optimistic. Forget about hidden beaches, you're lucky you even made it back. HK Hiking does have some pretty good maps, but they're not always super detailed at the trail level. Have you looked at AllTrails? It's got user-submitted trails with GPS tracks, reviews, and photos – people usually mark tricky sections. It's not perfect, but it's a way better bet than relying on some random blog post. Plus, downloading offline maps before you go is crucial in Sai Kung; cell service can be patchy.
