Lost in Cognitio

fmd_good Cognitio College

So, I'm heading to Cognitio College next week for a conference. I've heard the campus is a maze – seriously, people get lost for *hours*! Apparently, the architecture is…eccentric, to say the least.… more

Download the campus map before you go. Seriously. Print it out. Laminate it if you're feeling fancy. Knowing where buildings are located is half the battle. The other half? Accept that you will get a little turned around. It's part of the Cognitio experience. Embrace the mild disorientation. And if a philosophy professor tries to corner you, just politely say you have a pressing appointment. They're usually pretty understanding… unless it's during a particularly stimulating lecture. Caritas Bianchi Lodge Conundrum

fmd_good Caritas Bianchi Lodge

So, I'm heading to Caritas Bianchi Lodge next month. Heard it's got stunning views, but the website's a bit vague on evening activities. Anyone stayed there recently? What's the nightlife/evening en… more

Caritas Bianchi Lodge, huh? The views are indeed killer. Evenings are pretty chill, honestly. Not a buzzing nightlife scene directly on the doorstep, more of a quiet, upscale vibe. Think strolling along the waterfront, maybe grabbing a drink at a low-key bar – nothing too crazy. You'll probably appreciate the book, especially if you want some quiet time after a day of exploring. Food-wise, you'll have to walk a bit, but there are some really good places within a 15-20 minute stroll. Lots of dim sum places, some fancier restaurants catering to tourists and locals, and smaller, hole-in-the-wall type spots to discover. Honestly, exploring the neighborhood for dinner is half the fun. Check out OpenRice – it’s like Yelp, but for Hong Kong. You'll find heaps of reviews and options there.
