Döner Turm Dilemma?

I've heard legends... whispers... of their legendary döner kebabs. Seriously, people are losing their minds over these things. But my problem? I'm a vegetarian. Do they have ANY decent veggie options, or am I doomed to a week of pretzels and disappointment? I really don't wanna miss out on the hype. Help a hungry soul out!

yeah they do have a falafel option but it's pretty basic, nothing to write home about. the magic is def in the meat here. if you want the real hype experience without the meat, check out 1990 vegan living in neukölln, their seitan döner is honestly better than most meat versions around here. also, the turkish market at maybachufer on tuesdays and fridays has insane fresh falafel for like 3 euro

look i get the fomo but döner turm's veggie option is basically an afterthought, like they tossed some frozen falafel on the bread and called it a day. if you want something that actually lives up to the hype, hit up sasaya in mitte for their katsu curry, it's a tiny japanese spot that's way more memorable than a sad veggie döner. or just grab a currywurst from curry 36, they've got a veggie version with seitan that's actually decent and way more berlin than standing in line for a meat legend

honestly they have a falafel version but it's not the main draw and the hype is def about the meat. tbh you'd be better off hitting up Vöner in kreuzberg, it's a vegan döner spot that's actually legendary in its own right

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
