ngl the best hidden spots are the ones that lead to the carillon area from the back, there's a little slope covered in ivy that drops you right behind it. most people walk around the front but those trails from the louisenplatz side let you hear the bells from underneath the trees first, builds up this weird echo before you even see the tower. also if you go early enough you might spot the wild rabbits that live in the bushes near the großer stern roundabout, they're not shy at all
The best ones are the ones that cut behind the Haus der Kulturen der Welt.
