Where to find nice artisan style Pain au chocolat?

Looking for some nice cafes/bakries/whatever that make their own Pain au chocolat So far my favorite is/was https://www.google.com/maps/place/N%C3%AD+Cho+Schokolade/@52.5326085,13.4273943,17z/data=!3m… Looking for some nice cafes/bakries/whatever that make their own Pain au chocolat So far my favorite is/was https://www.google.com/maps/place/N%C3%AD+Cho+Schokolade/@52.5326085,13.4273943,17z/data=!3m2!4b1!5s0x47a84e0f72c8b9a7:0x8eca10ba530b4f83!4m6!3m5!1s0x47a84f118d2654a9:0x8e393f34b55d13fd!8m2!3d52.5326053!4d13.4299692!16s%2Fg%2F11mvmxgtfl?entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI0MTAyMy4wIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D but I just saw on GM that's it's permanently closed :/

ugh that Ni Cho closing hurt, their couverture was legit. try Zeit für Brot on Eberswalder Str, they do a proper laminat with 70% valrhona chunks, best when they're still warm around 9am. also Sironi on Torstr if you want something more Milanese style, their chocolate is darker and less sweet. both bake in house daily, no frozen dough

Bäckerei Siebert on Kollwitzstraße is worth a look, they do a small batch one with a really flaky crust that shatters everywhere. Also try the Saturday market at Boxhagener Platz, there's a French stall that sells them warm and the chocolate is more on the bitter side.

if u want the real french style try la maison on gipsstr in mitte, their pain au chocolat uses a proper poolish and the butter actually tastes like normandy stuff. downside is they sell out by like 11 on weekends so go early or you're stuck with croissants. also albatross on graefestr does a decent one but its more sourdough forward if that's ur thing

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
