Any indoor pool in Berlin where I don't freeze to death ?

Anyone know of… I need help finding an indoor pool in Berlin that doesn't feel like I'm swimming in the Arctic. Seriously, the last few places I went to were so cold I was shivering the whole time. Anyone know of a spot where the water's actually warm enough to chill and enjoy the swim? I'm tired of freezing my ass off...

Berliner Bäder list a "Wassertemperatur" for every pool on their site, worth checking before you commit since it varies a lot between the Schwimmerbecken and the Nichtschwimmer area. For genuinely warm water the Kombibad Spandau Süd keeps the small pool near 30 and its rarely a zoo on weekday afternoons. Another trick: the pools attached to the Stadtbad Charlottenburg (the old one on Krumme Str) run warmer than the modern sportbäder because theyre older and less optimized for lap swimming, so the heating is set for comfort not records.

stadtbad neukolln is usually decent, the big pool sits around 28 and the air is warm too so u dont get that shock when u climb out. avoid the early morning lap slots tho, they crank it cooler for the sport swimmers. if u want really warm go to the thermal area at liquidrom near potsdamer platz, more of a spa vibe but the water is properly hot

neukolln has the sommerbad but thats outdoor so useless rn. for indoor warmth what actually works is the small lehrschwimmbecken at schwimmhalle fischerinsel, they keep that one near 31 for the kursbetrieb & its open to everyone outside course hours. only catch is u gotta dodge the school classes, mornings are chaos, late afternoon is ur window. bring a 2 euro coin for the locker too, the machines there dont take cards

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
