Good app/website for Minijobs?

But on most websites I have checked so far it's a pain in the ass to do so. So any recommendations for a good app/website, maybe one that is Berlin-specific? Since it's not really useful to check out Minijobs when the only location they give me is that it is somewhere in Berlin.

Zenjob is worth a try, they focus on short-term flexible shifts and actually show you the exact address before you apply. Most of their listings are for warehouses, events, or retail in specific neighborhoods like Mitte or Neukölln so you won't get that vague "Berlin" nonsense. For something more traditional, Kleinanzeigen still works if you filter by district and message the poster directly, just ignore anything that says "ganz Berlin" because it's usually a scam or a chain.

ngl the berlin-specific minijob portals are kinda mid but check out nebenjob.berlin, it's a local site that actually breaks things down by bezirk and sometimes even kiez. the listings lean toward gastro and office cleaning but i've seen reception gigs in charlottenburg and delivery stuff in prenzlauer berg there too. just set a radius filter and you're set, way less noise than indeed or stepstone

honestly, jobvalley is pretty solid for Minijobs in Berlin. they let you filter by Bezirk and even show the S-Bahn station nearby so you know exactly where you're headed. a lot of the gigs are in student-heavy areas like Friedrichshain or Wedding, but I've seen stuff in Lichtenberg too. Kleinanzeigen works if you're patient, but you gotta wade through a ton of "flexible working student" posts that are actually full-time traps.

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
