Any MLB fans in Berlin?

With the World Series coming up, I was wondering if there were any bars where they played mlb games. Go padres :) With the World Series coming up, I was wondering if there were any bars where they played mlb games. Go padres :)

the world series games are on at like 2 or 3am here so your real problem isnt finding a bar that shows mlb, its finding one still open. most kneipen die around 1. your better bet is a spati that stays open all night, grab a couple beers and stream it on your phone honestly. or check if any american expat fb groups are doing a watch party, they pop up every october

yeah mlb.tv is the move here, no blackouts which is a nice change. if you want to watch with people though, try the Irish pubs around Kreuzberg during the World Series, some of them throw it on if you ask and it's not clashing with football. otherwise Discord watch parties are where most of the Berlin baseball crowd actually hangs out. go pads indeed, that bullpen is scary

football is the problem, bundesliga saturdays & champions league tuesdays mean most kneipen wont give up the screen. but for the world series specifically the games start around 2am here anyway so you're not fighting anyone for the tv, just need a bar that's open that late. weinerei on gneisenaustrasse or some of the late spots in neukolln stay open past 3, worth asking the bartender to switch one screen over

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
