Mask Recommendations for Cigarette Smoke?

I'm asthmatic and prone to migraines, so it's difficult for me to be around cigarette smoke, especially indoors. Can anyone recommend a face covering with strong enough filtration to get out most of the smoke? Ideally something that pairs well with some clubbing outfits but I can make anything work.

imo the mask route works but you'll prob end up taking it off after a few drinks anyway, especially if you're dancing and sweating. i'd focus more on the venue's smoking policy than the mask itself. a few places like sisyphos have a huge outdoor smoking garden but the main dancefloor is smoke-free, same with suicide circus on a good night. if you're deadset on a mask, look into the airinum lite, it's got replaceable filters and a sleeker shape than the vogmask, plus the straps sit behind your neck instead of over your ears which is way more comfortable for hours of clubbing. just keep it in a little baggie in your pocket and only wear it when the smoke gets thick

tbh you might have better luck with a respro mask since theyre made for cyclists filtering out exhaust and smoke. they look a bit sporty but all black is fine for techno

honestly for clubbing here you're better off just being strategic about which spots you go to. a lot of the more mainstream clubs on torstraße or near rosenthaler platz are still smoky as hell but there are places like ://about blank or ritter butzke that have better ventilation or outdoor smoking areas you can avoid. for a mask i'd grab a vogmask or cambridge mask, they filter smoke decently and come in black or muted colors that don't scream "i'm wearing a medical device" on the dancefloor. pair it with a leather jacket or something dark and it blends in fine

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
