Vabali in fall/winter?

Is vabali open in the fall and or winter? Is vabali open in the fall and or winter?

tbh the outdoor sauna area is actually the main draw when it's cold. the aufguss sessions hit different with that crisp air hitting your face after. just be ready for the walk back to the changing rooms, that stretch between the saunas and the lockers can feel like a mile when you're wet and it's 5 degrees out. they have robes for rent if you don't wanna bring your own

Yeah, Vabali is open year-round, including fall and winter. That's actually one of the best times to go because the outdoor pools are heated and the sauna area feels great when it's cold out. Just keep in mind the outdoor spaces are barefoot-friendly even in rain or snow, so bring flip-flops if you're not a fan of cold wet pavement. The cafe inside is decent but overpriced, I'd grab a snack beforehand.

fall winter is actually the best time for vabali imo. the outdoor saunas hit different when there's frost on the ground, and the thermal pool steam rising into cold air is just magical. weekdays around 4pm are the sweet spot for smaller crowds. just remember you're in a textile-free zone in most areas so plan accordingly.

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
