Recommendations for outdoor raves/outdoor techno parties in summer?

That's the question :) That's the question :)

In summer, check out the open-air parties at Club der Visionaere on Holzmarktstrasse. They keep it small and right on the Spree, so it's more relaxed than the big warehouse scene. If you want something wilder, the Renate Garten parties often go until late afternoon the next day. Bring cash for the bar, some of those spots don't take cards.

honestly skip the clubs and head to Tempelhofer Feld on a sunny sunday. people set up their own speaker stacks and it's basically a free for all, no bouncers no dress code just vibes. bring a blanket and some beers, you'll find a crew playing hardgroove or trance within 20 mins of walking around

also check out the "Rummelsbucht" area near the Ostkreuz, there's an abandoned beach club that gets taken over by renegade crews sometimes. it's a bit sketchy to find but if you follow the bass you'll get there. cops rarely bother because it's technically private property and they dont wanna wade through the weeds

Just scroll through resident advisor or go on Facebook, this gets asked every damn summer. Try Sisyphos or Else if you want a proper daylong thing, the gardens there are massive. Bring sunscreen and earplugs, you'll thank me later.

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
