I found some information on two spots, Flughafen See and Blankenfelde See, but it seems like they might be either crowded or the water might be too deep for beginners. I'm looking for a place with very shallow water, ideal for learning, as refrenced here: https://youtu.be/2d8KiradIFs?t=170. Can anyone recommend any places like this in Berlin or Brandenburg? Ideally, I'm looking for a beach with small pebbles or minimal trash.

The best shallow learning spot I know is the southeast corner of Kiessee in Kleinmachnow. The water barely reaches your shins for about 30 meters out, the bottom is fine sand with almost no trash, and on weekdays it's nearly empty. Take the X11 bus from S Zehlendorf to the Kleinmachnow Kiefernweg stop, then it's a 5 minute walk through the woods to the water's edge. Just check the water level before you go, it can drop a bit in dry summers.

Try the shallow inlet at Liepnitzsee near Wandlitz. The water stays under a foot deep for maybe 25 meters off the little sandy beach on the north side, and the bottom is mostly fine gravel and sand. It's a bit further out, about 50 minutes on the RB27 to Wandlitzsee then a 15 minute walk through the forest, but you won't find many people there on a Tuesday morning. Just watch out for the occasional submerged root near the bank.

Honestly the best spot I've found for learning is Teufelssee in Grunewald. The shore's got this nice gentle slope with sand and tiny pebbles, stays shallow for ages. It's a bit of a walk from the S-Bahn but worth it, way quieter than the other lakes on weekdays.

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
