Casual run clubs in Berlin for holiday?

I'll be visiting Berlin ~11.Aug to 15.Aug... my moderate runs at approx 5:30-6:00 min/km pace. Are there any casual run clubs that I could just join once or twice? Probably best in the early mornings… I'll be visiting Berlin ~11.Aug to 15.Aug... my moderate runs at approx 5:30-6:00 min/km pace. Are there any casual run clubs that I could just join once or twice? Probably best in the early mornings before my tourist activities begin. (maybe in Tiergarten? I'll be staying near Monbijoupark, a little north of Pergamon, altest/neues/etc - museum island)

English is my first language, und ich kann nur ein bisschen Deutsch von Hochschule (zwischen 30 Jahr mit kein Leute mit zu uben! Schlecht und schwer).

for that area your best bet is "mitte lauft" they meet at hackescher markt on thursday mornings at 7, it's a small group maybe 10-15 people and they do a loop through monbijoupark and over to the spree. your pace is right in their sweet spot, just dm them on instagram a day before to say you're visiting. the run ends at a bakery on torstraße that opens early for them, good spot to grab a pretzel before you hit the museums

berlin city runners does a tuesday morning run near brandenburg gate around 6:30am, pretty casual and tourist friendly. also check out "morning run club berlin" on instagram, they meet at different spots and your pace fits right in

yeah check out "berlin run crew" on instagram, they do a wednesday morning run from tiergarten around 7am that's super chill and all paces welcome. your pace is fine for them, just show up with a beer or coffee money for after.

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
