I live overseas that's why it's hard and I'm asking for any suggestions or help. Thankyou!

another option is to use a service like foodora or deliveroo if theyre still around in your area, but honestly wolt is the most reliable here for berlin. you can also try calling the restaurant directly if they have a website with an online ordering system, some smaller places accept paypal or credit card through their own site. just double check the delivery radius before you place the order, some places wont deliver outside a certain km range from their location

honestly just use lieferando but set the delivery address to their place before you pay. the app lets you use any credit card or paypal so you dont need a german bank account. just make sure you check the "present" option if you want to add a note to the driver.

if lieferando doesnt work for whatever reason, wolt is good too and covers most of berlin. both apps save the address once you enter it so you can order again easily. just be careful with the tip option, germany isnt as tip heavy as the US so 2-3 euro is fine for most orders.

If you're set on using Lieferando, just know they sometimes flag international cards for fraud. Wolt has been smoother for that in my experience, and their customer support is in English if something goes wrong. For a more direct option, you could try sending them a gift card for a local spot like Mustafa's Gemuse Kebap or a delivery service like Knuspr, which does groceries and meals. Just make sure the gift card code works for their area before you buy it.

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
