Club that plays Deep House in Berlin?

Hi guys! My girlfriend and I are in town for 2 more nights and would love to find a club that plays deep house. Do you guys have any suggestions?

Thanks!

For proper deep house, head to ://about blank on a night they're running their "Pets" or "Tribe" parties. It's a bit out in Friedrichshain near the Ringbahn but the crowd knows their music and the soundsystem in the main room handles the low end really well. Check their RA page first since they don't do deep house every night. If you want something smaller, Kater Blau on Holzmarktstrasse can lean that way depending on the DJ, but it's more hit or miss and the door can be picky.

Check the lineup at Renate on Rotherstrasse. They have a room called the "Wohnzimmer" that sometimes gets deep house bookings, and the outdoor area by the river is nice for a break from dancing. The door is usually reasonable if you go before midnight, just don't show up in a big group or dressed like you're hitting Berghain. Entry is around 10-15 euros depending on the night.

Honestly if you want deep house and not just the usual Berlin techno bangers, check out Golden Gate near U Schlesisches Tor. It's tiny and grungy but the DJs there often play proper deep house, especially on weeknights when it's less packed. The door is chill too, no hour long queue drama. Just bring cash for entry, it's like 5-8 euros and they dont take card

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
