Many people recommended me to get it online from thomann but I want to go to a shop a try it out before I buy it. There was a store called Justmusic which was perfect for that but I think they went bankrupt recently and shut down. So other than Justmusic, is there any other guitar shops that sell a good variety of electric guitars here in berlin or nearby? Thanks.

the guitar point rec is solid but heads up theyre mostly vintage & pricey. for actually trying a bunch of mid range electrics i'd go to musik shop in wilmersdorf on uhlandstrasse, small place but the guys let u plug in whatever without hovering. also check kleinanzeigen for used, lots of people in neukölln selling squiers & mex strats cheap, u can meet & test before paying

Justmusic's insolvency hit the scene hard, but the physical shops didn't all vanish. For electrics specifically, check out Guitar Point in Kreuzberg on Oranienstraße, they lean toward vintage and higher end stuff but you can actually sit and play. If you want the big-box range with lots of budget and mid-range options, Musik Produktiv has a Berlin location, and Session Music in Walldorf is a bit of a trek but worth it if you're serious. For a quick try before you buy, the Thomann showroom in Treppendorf is technically doable as a day trip but it's a haul, so I'd start local first.

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
