Best takeaway sushi near Mauerpark ?

I'm meeting with some friends in Maurpark and we would like to get takeaway sushi and eat it in the park. What are your recommendations? if you're 5 people and want bang for your buck, try the sushi counter inside the ecenter at schönhauser allee arcaden. it's not a restaurant, just a grab-and-go stall, but the rolls are fresh and the mixed boxes are around 9 euro each. the walk from mauerpark is like 10 min down schönhauser, and you can cut through the back streets to the park entrance near the skatepark. just avoid the 1-2pm lunch rush if you can

honestly for 5 people on a budget near Mauerpark, i'd hit up Sushi Room on Brunnenstraße. it's a tiny place, like 5 min walk east from the park entrance, and they do solid takeaway boxes for around 8-10 euro each. the portions are decent and they have a lunch special that runs til 4pm if u can make it earlier

if u want something even cheaper, there's a vietnamese place called Co Chu on Schönhauser that does sushi rolls too, not the fanciest but the mixed boxes feed 2 ppl for like 12 euro. just check their hours cause they close random days sometimes

either way grab it and head to the hill by the flea market side, best spot for a picnic

yeah so another option is Rice on Torstraße, it's a bit further but worth it for the price. they do big mixed platters for like 15 euro that easily feed two people, and the quality's better than the super cheap spots. just call ahead cause they get busy around lunch

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
