What happens if I do not pay fine for cancelling a doctor's appointment?

I had to cancel an appointment at last minute and now I have to pay 37€. What will happen if I just ignore it ? I had to cancel an appointment at last minute and now I have to pay 37€. What will happen if I just ignore it ?

honestly, 37€ is pretty low so they probably won't send a Mahnbescheid (official court dunning notice) for that amount, but it will go to a collection agency after a couple of reminders. those inkasso guys add like 50-100€ in fees and then it hits your Schufa score, which is a real pain when you try to rent a flat or get a phone contract here in berlin. just pay it and save yourself the headache, not worth the hassle over 37€

ngl 37€ is annoying but just pay it. the praxis will prob send a couple mahnungen first but if you ignore those it goes to inkasso and they'll chase you for like 100€+ easily. also if you ever need to go back to that same doctor they'll remember and might refuse to book you again, happens a lot in berlin with busy practices near alexanderplatz or in prenzlberg. just transfer the money and move on

just pay it mate, 37€ is cheaper than the alternative. the praxis will eventually send it to a legal collection and they'll slap on like 50€ in fees plus court costs if it goes further. also some doctors here in berlin share a blacklist through the KV system, so next time you need an appointment they might just say they're fully booked

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
