honestly for that amount of data you're better off renting a WeWork day pass or similar coworking space with a dedicated line. most cafes cap out at 50-100mbps which would take days for a terabyte. the WeWork near Hackescher Markt has symmetrical gigabit fiber if you book a private booth for the day, think it's like 35€

if you're on a budget try the coworking at betahaus in Kreuzberg, they have a 500mbps line and day passes are 15€. just don't go during lunch rush cause everyone's streaming stuff and it gets bogged down. also check if your client has a data cap on their contract, some german ISPs throttle after 1TB which could mess things up

fwiw if your client is gonna be here for a while and this is a recurring thing, look into getting a temporary desk at Factory Berlin in Mitte. they have a 10gbps line and it's dead reliable, plus you can book by the week which works out cheaper than daily passes. think it's like 150€ a week for a hot desk

also worth checking if the client's gear has usb-c or thunderbolt cause you could just plug directly into their network instead of relying on wifi. the upload speed difference is massive on those business lines, like 800mbps vs maybe 200 on a good day with wifi

Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
