Ist das auch Berliner Club-Kultur?

It really depends what you're after. The official club culture with bouncers and dress codes is one thing, but there's a whole other layer of illegal parties in abandoned buildings or under bridges, especially in summer. Check out the area around Schlesisches Tor late at night, you might stumble into something that's more about the music than the Instagram crowd.

You can definitely still find that raw, unpolished energy if you know where to look. I'd argue the real scene shifted a bit eastward, places like Renate or even some of the spots in Lichtenberg have that same "someone's weird art project meets a sound system" vibe. The door is still a gamble at those smaller places, but it's usually more about whether you fit the room than some strict dress code.

honestly depends what u mean by "club kultur" but if ur talking about the chaotic DIY spaces that pop up in old factories and then disappear a month later, yeah that's still very berlin. places like ://about blank or sisyphos are the big names but the real vibe is in the smaller spots like karlstiftung or the occasional warehouse party in friedrichshain that you only hear about through a friend of a friend. just be ready for the door policy, it's not always chill

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
