Clubs with a little older crowd?

I try to avoid places that draw mostly college-age kids (in the US; they're usually just kind of annoying) as it is, so also having teenagers around isn't ideal. Any recs/experiences to share? Basically looking for places where the crowd tends to be at least mid-20s, and genuinely there to enjoy the music and have a good time.

honestly the age thing in berlin clubs is more about door policy than the venue itself. places like Kater Blau and Sisyphos pull a solid 30s crowd but theyre also stricter at the door, so go early (before midnight) and dont roll up in a big group. if u want something more low key, check out about blank in Friedrichshain, crowd skews older and its way less touristy than watergate.

the mid-20s+ crowd thing is real but it shifts by night more than by club. sunday morning at berghain is basically a 30s+ crowd, thursday is way younger. same with sisyphos, saturday night leans young, sunday afternoon is older. if ur flexible on timing thats ur best filter, more than picking the "right" venue. also avoid anything on a friday around warschauer, thats when the 18yo groups come out

tbh the older crowd thing often comes down to the music style more than the club. go to a house or disco night instead of hard techno and you'll notice way fewer 19 year olds, places like Renate or Hoppetosse on a good night skew way older. also fwiw, avoid thursdays, thats student night everywhere

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
