What is the largest club in Berlin?

Can anyone tell me what the largest club in Berlin is? I'm particularly interested in the size of the place, how many stages there are etc. Can anyone tell me what the largest club in Berlin is? I'm particularly interested in the size of the place, how many stages there are etc.

yeah if you count outdoor space, ost is massive but honestly the vibe there is all over the place. berghain's main floor alone feels bigger than most clubs' entire footprint, that boiler room energy hits different. for pure dance floor square meters, i'd say berghain wins, ost is just spread out

The tricky thing is that "largest" gets measured differently depending on who's asking. If you want sheer venue capacity with actual club programming, check out the old Kindl complex that hosts some of the bigger one-off events, they've got that massive main hall where they've done 3000+ people for certain nights, but it's not a weekly club in the traditional sense. For a dedicated club that's open most weekends, Sisyphos gets my vote for total area because of the outdoor spaces and the sheer number of rooms, even though it's not as tall as Berghain. One thing nobody's mentioned yet: the layout matters more than raw square meters. Berghain's vertical design means you're always moving up or down, while Sisyphos spreads everything across a flat site, so it feels like you're exploring a whole neighborhood rather than a building. If you're planning a night, think about what you actually want: crowds and intensity at Berghain, or wandering and discovery at Sisyphos.

if you're counting pure club nights and not festivals, tresor is worth mentioning, it's not as huge as berghain floor-wise but the basement is like 3 rooms connected by tunnels, and the industrial history there is wild. that said, for sheer weirdness and space, sisyphos is the dark horse, it's a former dog biscuit factory with like 7 rooms, a beach bar, and a rooftop, it's genuinely overwhelming and most tourists skip it because it's further east. berghain's the big name but sisyphos feels bigger because you never see the whole thing in one night. if you're here for a weekend, do berghain saturday then sisyphos sunday morning, the contrast is the real berlin experience.

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
