Hello everyone, I am wondering if there is any shops that sell alternative band merchandise?

I would be looking for things similar to Entombed or Gatecreeper or more punk/hardcore bands like madball, terror etc

Thank you for your help.

honestly coretex is prob your best bet for that specific vibe but if you want a bigger selection of band shirts in general hit up zeichen set in friedrichshain. they have a whole wall of patches and pins too which is nice. also this might sound weird but some of the flohmarkt stalls near warschauer have old tour shirts if u dig deep enough, saw a torn madball tee there last month for like 8 euro

If you're heading out to Neukölln, make a stop at Static Shock on Weserstraße. They focus mostly on hardcore, punk, and extreme metal, and the owner actually knows what's worth picking up. Prices are fair, usually around 25 to 30 euro for a shirt, and they get new stock pretty often. Also worth knowing that Heavy Pop on Oranienstraße sometimes carries leftover tour merch from bands that played nearby venues like Cassiopeia or SO36.

tbh u could also just check out the merch tables at shows themselves. lots of bands sell stuff cheaper than shops and u get to support them directly. check the schedules at cassiopeia or so36, u'll find something

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
